AR Takiyama Castle Ruins

The Hachioji City’s official application, “AR Takiyama Castle Ruins” is a tourism application that allows you to enjoy experiencing and learning the history of the famous Takiyama Castle in the Sengoku (Warring States) period with AR (Augmented Reality).When you read an AR marker on a Park Map in the Takiyama Park in Hachioji City, an image of Takiyama Castle from about 450 years ago will be displayed over the current landscape.The application shows your current location, along with recommended nearby locations, in real time on the map.You can check for locations that have an AR marker, and get directions towards seasonal attractions such as cherry blossoms and autumn leaves.
The application also includes the animation movie that introduces the history of Takiyama Castle.Together with this application, embark on a romantic journey to experience the famous Takiyama Castle in the Sengoku period.We have added a new AR point "Honmaru", added a movie on how to use the app, and improved the UI.
